he project offers a solution to the conflict that accures in public spaces. This process is secularization and targets secular neighborhoods in mixed cities, creating new spaces in the city that allow life side by side. A mixed city of ultra-Orthodox and secular is one solution to the issue of the growth rate of the ultra-Orthodox in a country where segregation in the city is less and integrates the ultra-Orthodox population within distinct neighborhoods in mixed cities. Living together, side by side, entails dealing with different life patterns between the ultra-Orthodox and secular and is a potential source of friction.

I examined this complex issue in the city of Beit Shemesh, which is undergoing an accelerated process of orthodoxy that began in the early 1990s until the day when the balance of the population in the city reached more than 50% of the residents.
The project offers a structural typology a diverse urban block in which ultra-Orthodox and secular can live together. The model of the differentiated ultra-Orthodox neighborhood changes its scale to an urban block with a defined religious community space that contains programs tailored to the community that will allow the ultra-Orthodox lifestyle as in the ultra-Orthodox neighborhoods, along with an open public space that includes a community center for all.
